Just this morning I was reading the book THE AGILE CHURCH. In it the author paints a pretty negative picture of the religious environment of our nation, and of the church. He talks about how often, in the church, we think if we just do things harder, preach better, throw a jazz band in worship and spruce up the website things will be different. These things are not magic. However, websites such as this are important tools for ministry and the church. If we are going to be challenged by the Gospel, we do so through and with the community in which we worship and serve. This website is intended to help facilitate that. It is also meant to tell stories. What is going on? What have people done? What joys and sorrows do we share? How is God made known in and through this place? How does God’s story shape our story? I hope you find helpful stories and information through this website. More importantly, I hope to see you in worship.
